Plot[]

It's 1945 and World War II is drawing to a close. A Nazi soldier named Dimitri runs down a flight of stairs to escape from an American soldier, but is caught by the soldier and shot in the head. Unbeknownst to the soldier, Dimitri survived and 48 years later, he is alive and well, living in Manhattan, where he and his wife Gertrude, live in secrecy after hooking up with an underground Nazi relocation center named Odessa. Dimitri argues with Gertrude when she doesn't put enough milk in his oatmeal and goes to the refrigerator to get some milk himself. Dimitri accidentally bumps his head on the freezer door when he bends over, causing the bullet (which had lodged itself beside an important blood vessel) to dislodge and sever the blood vessel, causing internal hemorrhaging in his brain and death.

"Dimitri thought he had cheated death, but the former Nazi had no idea death can be so patient. As for the bullet in his head, it was just... (German accent) following orders."
